Our Story
Our story began more than 35 years ago with a simple family tradition. Every New Year, we would prepare gifts for our relatives and close friends, packing in our homemade Belinjo Crackers as part of the celebrations.
To our surprise, the Belinjo Crackers quickly became the highlight of these gifts. Everyone who received them shared the same feedback, “THEY ARE ADDICTIVE” and it’s something to look forward to each year. What started as a gesture of love soon became a family tradition that we continue to this day.
Encouraged by the heartwarming responses and repeated nudges from friends and family, we decided to take the leap into sharing more of our Indonesian and local recipes with the wider community. That was how Tuakang Specialty was born, a way to preserve tradition while introducing authentic flavours to more families.
Today, Belinjo Crackers remain our flagship snack. And with new inspirations like our Banana Cake, baked from a father’s care and a child’s love for it. We’re excited to grow our collection of heartfelt recipes. With every cracker, every cake, and every bite, our mission stays the same “to bring people closer through the joy of good food”.
