A New Year tradition
Our story began with a simple family ritual. Every New Year, we would prepare gifts for our relatives and close friends, packing in our homemade Belinjo Crackers as part of the celebrations.

To our surprise, the crackers quickly became the highlight of those gifts. Everyone who received them said the same thing, and the crackers became something to look forward to each year. What started as a gesture of love became a tradition we continue to this day.
Encouraged by the heartwarming responses, and no small amount of nudging from friends and family, we decided to share more of our Indonesian and local recipes with the wider community. TuaKang Specialty was born as a way to preserve tradition while introducing authentic flavours to more families.
Belinjo Crackers remain our flagship snack. And with new inspirations like our Banana Cake, baked from a father's care and a child's love for it, we keep growing our collection of heartfelt recipes. The bouncy castles joined so the same families could bring the whole party home in one go.
TuaKang is how 大港 sounds in Hokkien: a big port, a place where boats come home and good things get shared around. Our first logo carried a red bridge over the water as a nod to where the family story began, and today's garland logo strings the whole business together the same way: crackers, cake and castles hanging side by side, ready for a celebration.
